Q&A
Anonymous asked: For you, does the silent treatment work? Relationship-wise
I’m always the one who does the silent treatment, and it only works if the other is a talkative person. It drives them crazy because chatty people usually would want to keep talking during the argument, scrutinizing the fight over and over until it loses sense. They hate my silence. So yes, it works for me.
Anonymous asked: Thank you for hating Wuthering Heights. :) Nice blog btw.
Hah, my pleasure. Thanks! :)
Anonymous asked: I want to buy a new dslr, preferably Canon Rebel xsi. I actually have a 2-year old (lol) canon 1100. Do you think I can still sell it? Is it not, like, too old? lol hahaha :D PS I love the world gif thingy on your tumblr =)
I have the XSi. Be forewarned, though, it’s not a new model. These days I’d recommend you something new but still cheap, like the 60D or the Ti line. Camera stores buy almost anything you sell them, but be prepared for the price they’ll offer—it’s going to be cheap. Especially if it’s digital and outdated. Oh, and thanks for liking the GIF. :)
Anonymous asked: “Be clearly aware of the stars and infinity on high. Then life seems almost enchanted after all.” —Vincent van Gogh. Can you please explain that quote? :)
We studied this in Humanities, though not the quote, but the story of his The Starry Night painting. The quote made more sense to me after, as I only knew it from Fall Out Boy’s album title reference.
It’s quite literal—the universe’s magnificence and vastness enchants him. I don’t think it has a deeper meaning. If I remember correctly, he was painting The Starry Night when he wrote this letter to his brother. So he was actually painting the universe’s infinity with all those galaxy-like swirls and oh my God I just miss my Humanities class.
Anonymous asked: Um, okay, I’ve always loved those blogs like your… Do you post only your photos? x
Thanks! I post mainly photos, but also other stuff like quotes and music I like. :)
