Happy New Year, everyone! (Local time, that is!) Are you as sick of fireworks photos as I am?! So no fireworks shots this year.

So this is how we spent our New Year’s eve—makeshift grill, coffee, Gossip Girl seasons playing in the background. It was good. I hope 2013 would be as bad-ass as I expect it to be.

One room in our house gets a great view of the sunset. I have loads of stocked photos with that same landscape of neighbors’ rooftops, lampposts and electricity lines, but I was never sick of it. The sundowns varied: plain one day, majestic the next.

It’s funny how one thing that repeats itself everyday had never, in some way, actually repeated itself. It’s always different.
