Some more from our spontaneous trip to San Francisco.
In other news, I have un-ultimately decided that the “Of Sixteen Strangers” travel blog will not be able to make it, and for a few reasons:
- Halfway through, I abandoned the fake Polaroid theme and decided to stick with just regular, high-res photos like in the old blog. It made it feel like the old blog and that wasn’t right. It was like I just abandoned Blogspot to move the contents to Tumblr and it felt counterproductive.
- I no longer like the idea of having two separate blogs. That was the point of leaving Blogspot.
- I didn’t like paying for Flickr (or custom domain) anymore.
- Truthfully, I only set up that blog because I thought the name “Of Sixteen Strangers” sounded cool.
I’ll just improve this one, backtrack on old posts and fix them so I could put up most of my unseen photos. I’ll be under construction in the meantime.
Thanks for all the positive responses to the “Of Sixteen Strangers” proposal. I’m sorry I had to terminate it.

Did you know that San Francisco is better during dusk? Neither did I. But now we do.
Funny story, though—our plans were to visit only Santa Maria (relatives) and Solvang yesterday but then we passed by the mile-count sign to San Fran and my dad just asked if we were up for it.
Of course we were.
Second spontaneous road trip this year. 2013 must be the year for good travels.
